My 12 year old son has been training at the ATA Black Belt Academy in Powell for over 7 years now and gained more than a Black Belt in the process. The respect, discipline and confidence he has gained though his training has far exceeded our expectations. The instructors at ATA are are not only excellent teachers to both kids and adults, but are also continually training and competing themselves to better teach and train their students. I highly recommend the Powell ATA Black Belt Academy for kids and adults looking to train in Taekwondo.

We love ATA! My two kids have been coming for 1.5 years, an average of 2-3 times per week. They love going and are very motivated by the stripes and belt testing, as well as the star report card system that teaches them character info. They practice at home quite a bit, on their own. I recently started classes too so have experienced first-hand the amazing instructors. Each one is so kind and caring, and makes every class so fun. Highly recommend! We love our ATA family!

We are very pleased and impressed with ATA and very much recommend them. Our son first came to ATA for a classmate’s birthday party and he loved it so much that he wanted to start lessons immediately. It’s amazing how all the instructors remember students’ names which make each one feel important. It is clear the staff cares about the kids and not only during class but by teaching lifelong lessons in respect and discipline they can apply in all situations. The instructors want each student to succeed and are very good at communicating progress with parents. They take the time for individual instructions when needed to make sure students continue to progress with their skill levels. We feel welcome each time we walk in the door and we are happy to be part of ATA!
