Biography
I started my martial arts journey when I was around 4 years old, after I saw a demo in school. I had way too much energy as a kid, so martial arts was the perfect outlet for me. As I got older, it became so much more than just an after school activity.
I joined Leadership when I was 8, and started helping out in classes a few years later. Pretty quickly I learned how much I loved teaching. Over time, I went from just helping out to realizing that being an instructor was something I genuinely cared about. Now, as a head instructor, my favorite part is getting to watch students grow both on and off the mat. I especially love being able to show younger girls that they can be confident, successful, and take on leadership roles in this sport.
Off the mat, I am a nursing student at Ohio State, and plan on going to the pediatric psych field. I love traveling, going to concerts, and skiing (which I also teach in the winter)! I am a huge football fan so shoutout the Seattle Seahawks!
